Handwriting

Across the school, handwriting is very important and to enable all our children to write neatly across the curriculum, all staff model consistent handwriting when marking books or writing on the board inline with the handwriting policy. In the lower years, the focus is on the formation of letters and numbers, including their use of finger spaces between words. With the more able writers and those in KS2, focus is put on their writing being joined up and their ability to write neatly at speed.
