PE this term...
This month we have introduced a new game called Longball - a mash-up of football, rounders and dodgeball into the Girls Sports Club and we hope to roll that out with all classes, once we can get on the field in better weather.
Y4 and Y6 have been getting some expert cricket coaching from Adil, a leg-spinner from Pakistan who is providing 10 free sessions on behalf of The Summerfield Academy, run by our good friend Olly from Old Elthamians. This should put us in good shape for the Kwik Cricket competitions, later this year.
By the end of May we hope to have competed in Quad Kids - an athletics event for Y6 at Norman Park, Tri-Golf with Y5 & Y6 at Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club and Boccia - a version of bowls - with Y1.
Finally this month I would like to thank all the TA's who continue to volunteer their free time to help transport and support our children at the Bromley Schools Games competitions. Without their help we wouldn't be able to compete.
